Facilities and Directions

Catholic Engaged Encounter weekends are held in Cullman, Alabama approximately 50 miles north of Birmingham, just off I-65.  The location used is the Benedictine Sisters Retreat Center.

Directions

Take I-65 North from Birmingham or (South from Huntsville) to exit #308. Turn East.  Follow US-278 for approx 3 miles through town until you reach Convent Road, turn left; this is a T-intersection. (Convent Rd will be the first red light after the 4-lane road changes to a 2-lane road.  If you get to St. Bernards Abbey, you have gone too far.) The Conference Center is the second turn on the right, at the stoned-wall entrance.   Parking will be on the right, and along the drive. 

Important Notes:
Capacity at the facility is limited, so all attendees share a room with another attendee of the same gender.  Staff at the facility are not able to answer questions about Engaged Encounter.
